Zenoah 62 exhaust flange bolts

Post by Bernie »

Bit of help please, I have a Zenoah 62 side mounted on a tug, ordered a Pipe and Header from Dave at Motors and Rotors fantastic service and special made header to my drawings which all fits great, trouble I'm having is the square headed bolts to mount the header to the engine. Stock ones for the can are far two long, and nuts will just spin in the square cut out so any idea as to where I can get a short threaded square headed M5 bolts and also do I use locking nuts or two nuts locked up on each other

Look forward to your reply

Cheers

Bernie,
I shorten the long ones, and use the standard nuts, with a tube spacer.

E-mail me on modelgliding [at] aol.com, and I will send you a pic. I can make the bits for you if required.
